High Springs | Walk to Dining & Shops Downtown

Stay in the heart of Downtown High Springs—steps from restaurants, coffee, shops and small-town charm, and just a short drive from some of North Florida’s most spectacular natural springs.

This beautifully renovated 2-bedroom second floor apartment (no elevator) gives you the best of both worlds: a stylish, comfortable home base right in downtown High Springs and easy access to Ginnie Springs, Gilchrist Blue Springs, Poe Springs, Ichetucknee Springs and the Santa Fe River.

Inside, soaring ceilings, abundant natural light and an open-concept layout give the apartment a spacious, loft-like feel. The renovation is fresh and modern while preserving touches of character, including exposed brick accents that give the space a distinctive downtown feel.

Walk to Downtown High Springs

One of the best features of this property is that you can leave the car behind and explore downtown on foot.

In fact, Spinwiches is essentially next door at 23677 W. US Hwy 27. Just down the street is Colsie Coffee & Bakeshop for coffee, espresso drinks and baked goods.

Continue into the compact downtown district and you'll find some of High Springs' best-known restaurants, including Great Outdoors Restaurant, a longtime downtown favorite in the historic Opera House building; Prohibition Pizza for handcrafted New York-style pizza; The Steakout for cheesesteaks, pizza and casual fare; El Patio for Mexican food; and Watershed Restaurant for a casual bar-and-grill atmosphere.

You can also grab an old-fashioned burger at Bev's Burger Café or head to BlueStar Grill for breakfast and casual comfort food.

High Springs' downtown dining district is remarkably compact, with many of its restaurants clustered within just a few blocks.

That means you can spend the day swimming, tubing, kayaking or exploring the springs, come home and clean up, and then walk out for dinner instead of getting back in the car.

A Perfect Home Base for Florida's Springs

High Springs is known as a gateway to the freshwater springs and rivers of North Central Florida, and this apartment puts you in an excellent position for exploring several of them.

Ginnie Springs is one of the area's biggest draws, famous for its exceptionally clear water, swimming, tubing, paddling and diving.

Gilchrist Blue Springs State Park offers beautiful blue water and access to the Santa Fe River.

Poe Springs Park is another wonderful option for swimming, picnicking and enjoying the river.

Ichetucknee Springs State Park is famous for its crystal-clear spring-fed river and tubing.

Rum Island Springs is another nearby option for enjoying the Santa Fe River and spring country.

You'll also be convenient to O'Leno State Park, a completely different North Florida experience with trails, woods and the fascinating point where the Santa Fe River disappears underground. High Springs visitor guides consistently identify Ginnie Springs, Poe Springs, Blue/Gilchrist Springs and O'Leno among the area's signature outdoor attractions.

Beautifully Renovated Interior

After a day outdoors, this isn't a rustic cabin or basic springs rental—you'll come home to a bright, beautifully renovated apartment designed for comfort.

The open living area features dramatic high ceilings, large windows, comfortable sectional seating and a large TV. The exposed brick detail adds warmth and character while the neutral finishes keep the space feeling bright and contemporary.

The kitchen is a standout, with:

Large center island with sink and generous prep space
Stainless steel refrigerator, range, microwave and dishwasher
Crisp white cabinetry
Plenty of counter space
Coffee maker
Open layout connecting the kitchen, dining and living areas

Two Comfortable Bedrooms

With two bedrooms, everyone has room to spread out instead of squeezing into a hotel room.

The bedrooms are bright and comfortably furnished with fresh linens, ceiling fans and plenty of natural light. At least one bedroom also includes a TV, making it easy for guests to retreat to their own space when they want some downtime.

The combination of separate bedrooms and a large central gathering space makes this apartment especially well suited for families, couples traveling together, groups visiting the springs, wedding guests and longer stays.

More Than Just a Place to Sleep

The real advantage of staying here is how much you can do without constantly packing up the car.

Wake up and walk for coffee. Spend the day floating a crystal-clear spring. Come back to a comfortable, air-conditioned apartment. Walk to dinner. Browse downtown High Springs. Then settle into the living room together for the evening.

It's an unusually convenient combination of Downtown High Springs + beautiful accommodations + Florida springs access.

Whether you're coming to swim at Ginnie Springs, tube the Ichetucknee, paddle the Santa Fe River, explore North Florida, visit family, attend an event or simply escape for a few days, this newly renovated downtown apartment makes an exceptional home base.
